About - A true phenomenon from an early age, Casago comes from an excellent maternal line and under Piergiorgio Bucci achieved international successes. He regularly ranked in international 6 and 7 year old events including: 5th in the GP reserved for 6 year old stallions at the CSIW in Mechelen, 5th in the 7 year old GP at the CSI in Valkenswaard, 5th in a 1m40 at the CSI3* in Gorla Minore, 9th in a 7-year-old event at the CSI5* in Hamburg and was Crowned Italian Champion. He is then classified in international events including: 3rd in the Nations Cup of the CSIO in Vilamoura, 4th in the CSI3* Grand Prix in Vilamoura, 7th in the 1.60m, Grand Prix at the CSI5* in Saint-Tropez, 7th in a 1.45m at the CSI5* in London, 4th in a 1.50m at the CSI4* in Opglabbeek, 8th in a 1.50m event at the CSI4* in Opglabbeek. Casago was retired from sport due to a tendon injury.
Sire - Casall ASK is still winning grands prix aged 18 with Rolf-Goran Bengtsson, who rode him since 2005. As a six-year-old, he was third in the Bundeschampionat and Schleswig-Holstein Champion, but it is his international career that has been exceptional. He was the overall winner of the Longines Global Champions Tour (GCT) in 2016, winning not only the final in Doha but also the Paris and Valkensward legs. The previous season, he won the Rome and London GCT grands prix, and was third in the GCT rankings at the end of the season; throughout his career, he has won or finished on the podium in a GCT grand prix 22 times. He has won over €1.8 million on the Global Champion Tour alone. He was also 4th individually at both the 2014 World Equestrian Games and the 2013 European Championships, where he also won team bronze. His soundness and reliability have been remarkable - he has never missed a season in his 13-year career, and he ranked fourth on the WBFSH Sire Rankings in 2016.
Damline - His dam Larthago was a great winner in 1.50m classes with M. Van Asten. She has produced great international performers including:Cevin Z CSIO4* with W. Funnel, Hopes Are High Z CSI4* under Saudi colors and Caroline Z.
