About - Etienne is a young stallion who looks set to continue the legacy of his grandfather Estobar NRW and sire Escolar. He is the full brother of the highly decorated Eternity, the Escolar son who was Bundeschampion, Danish Vice-Champion and finally bronze medallist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo.

Etienne has everything required to take on his father's legacy, he passed a very good disposition test in Warendorf and was subsequently licensed on site. Ridden by Lisa Horler, he won a test for young riding horses in his first show season, thus underlining his special quality in an impressive way. Four times he was awarded the dream score of 9.0.  He is powerful like his sire, has a lot of shoulder freedom as well as high elasticity, always shows himself uphill and is equipped with a lot of thrust from the hindquarters.

Sire - His sire Escolar made his debut in 2012 at shows with results that would be hard to beat, winning one class after another, in Lingen, Cloppenburg and Münster-Handorf, where the judges didn't hesitate to give the highest possible score of 10.0. Just decorated with the Westphalian champion title, Escolar and his trainer, Hermann Burger, went to Warendorf where they took the Bundeschampionat title for three-year old stallions. Escolar made his international debut at Aachen CDI4* in 2016, scoring over 73% in both the PSG and Inter I classes to finish fourth and second. In 2017, he returned and scored +70% again. In 2017 Escolar was second (and crowd favourite) of the finals of the Nurnberger Burgpokal trophy on over 77%. In 2020, at the age of ten, Escolar was nominated for the Tokyo Olympic squad under Hubertus Schmidt; meanwhile, his offspring caused a sensation. 

Damline - Etienne’s dam Saphira was victorious in tests for young riding horses and produced one of the most talked about young horses in the advanced level with Eternity. Granddam Laureen, herself successful in dressage and eventing up to elementary level, produced three successful offspring.
